Carnaval 2025!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 25th and immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Carnaval San Francisco, the renowned multicultural extravaganza that unites people from all corners of the globe. This is your chance to be a part of something truly special as we call upon our students of all ages and their families to join us in showcasing the dynamic art forms of capoeira and maculelê on the streets of the Mission District. Showcasing capoeira is especially important given this year’s theme, “AfroMundo: African Diaspora in the Americas.” Let’s come together and be a part of the magic that is ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco.
If the idea of parading with us excites you, reach out to Mestra Cigarra at our school for more information. No capoeira experience is necessary to participate with our contingent!
