A safe\, active place for your child while schools are closed! \nTHE DETAILS \n* Dates: Monday–Friday\, March 30 – April 3\n* Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM\n* Ages: 5–12 years old\n* Flexible enrollment: Attend one day or the full week. Drop-ins are welcome.\n* Cost: Day rate: $100; 5-day rate = $450\n* Discount Access: Reduced-cost access is available upon request.\n* Extended care: Before care from 8:00 AM and aftercare until 5:00 PM available upon request for $20/hour. Pls Note: No aftercare is available on Fri April 3. \nSTEPS TO REGISTER: \n1) Fill out a youth release form HERE\, unless you are an existing student. \n2) Then enroll HERE. \nABOUT THE CAMP \nCamp is full of movement\, music\, creativity\, and community. Campers spend the day: \n* Learning Capoeira and maculelê movements\n* Playing Capoeira instruments and rhythms\n* Singing songs in Portuguese\n* Playing Capoeira-based games that emphasize teamwork\, leadership\, and cooperation \nCampers also explore performance skills\, writing\, reading\, artwork\, and creative play. Students learn acrobatic and self-defense movements and use them to improvise\, collaborate\, and create together.

DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, July 5th\, ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco will perform the halftime show at the Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs game at Chase Center. This will be the largest audience in ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco’s history\, and quite possibly the largest live audience for capoeira ever assembled in California. At this game\, thousands of people from across the Bay Area will experience the beauty\, athleticism\, music\, and spirit of capoeira. They will see this art form that’s transformed so many of lives. This is a monumental opportunity—not only for our school\, but for capoeira. \nTo fulfill our agreement with the Warriors organization\, we need to sell 250 tickets through our community. We can’t do it without you. We’re asking you to join us for this historic occasion and invite your family\, friends\, coworkers\, and neighbors to be part of it as well. Two ticket options are available: \n• $35 tickets (Lower-level baseline: Sections 109-110) \n• $50 tickets (Sideline: Section 114) \nBuy Tickets Now\nEven better\, $10 from every ticket purchased through ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco will be donated directly back to our organization\, helping support our classes\, youth programs\, cultural events\, and performances throughout the Bay Area.
