DESCRIPTION:ABADÁ-Capoeira SF is offering a fun\, engaging day camp Monday–Friday. A safe\, active place for your child while schools are closed! \nTHE DETAILS \n* Dates: Monday–Friday\, March 30 – April 3\n* Time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM\n* Ages: 5–12 years old\n* Flexible enrollment: Attend one day or the full week. Drop-ins are welcome.\n* Cost: Day rate: $100; 5-day rate = $450\n* Discount Access: Reduced-cost access is available upon request.\n* Extended care: Before care from 8:00 AM and aftercare until 5:00 PM available upon request for $20/hour. Pls Note: No aftercare is available on Fri April 3. \nSTEPS TO REGISTER: \n1) Fill out a youth release form HERE\, unless you are an existing student. \n2) Then enroll HERE. \nABOUT THE CAMP \nCamp is full of movement\, music\, creativity\, and community. Campers spend the day: \n* Learning Capoeira and maculelê movements\n* Playing Capoeira instruments and rhythms\n* Singing songs in Portuguese\n* Playing Capoeira-based games that emphasize teamwork\, leadership\, and cooperation \nCampers also explore performance skills\, writing\, reading\, artwork\, and creative play. Students learn acrobatic and self-defense movements and use them to improvise\, collaborate\, and create together.
