In the capoeira roda—the circle where two people “play” capoeira together—individuals who may never cross paths in their daily lives come together to move in harmony and share meaningful experiences. Capoeira creates a space where differences become strengths.
At ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco, those who may have previously felt unwelcome in capoeira spaces are welcomed and given a voice, allowing them not only to thrive but also to forge unexpected connections with one another. This unity among diverse populations is essential for our society, and it is what you support when you contribute to our organization.
Our year-end fundraising campaign celebrates these unexpected relationships. Every donation helps ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco continue to cultivate an environment where cultures, generations, and life stories intersect. We aim to broaden minds and promote values of respect, empathetic leadership, strength, resilience, and confidence, while ensuring the capoeira circle remains open to everyone.
