Three of our many special guests from Brazil, Mestrando Mobília and Instrutoras Bombom + Perla, will offer special instruction as part of their visit to perform in CIGARRA & Guerreiras Nessa Arte.
Don’t miss Mestrando Mobília’s musicality workshops. He’s been widely recognized as a skilled capoeira competitor and a talented composer and singer. His songs are sung worldwide.
You’ll also get the opportunity to learn an Afro-Brazilian dance, jongo, from one of Brazil’s best: Instrutora Perla. She’s been teaching for 18 years and has a deep background in the popular dances of Afro-Brazil: samba de roda, jongo, côco and dance of the orixás.
